Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Can someone send me the link to the spreadsheet?

The Madonna Inn is awesome. My family stayed there once on a trip to California. (I think we started out in San Diego, and took maybe two weeks to drive to San Francisco, making a bunch of stops along the way.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

LAistas - for next weekend I'm leaning toward doing the Getty Center, rather than the Villa. I've beeen to the Villa before (though not since Middle School), and I don't have to commit to timed-entry with the Center. So unless anyone else really had their heart set on the Villa, all other things being equal, the Center it shall be.

I'll figure out/post details and specifics next week.

Oh, not sure when I'll hit town on the Friday (after 4, but other than that depends on when I get started and, of course, traffic) , but I'd probably be up for a casual dinner if anyone's interested. Also very interested in Sunday dinner before I head back to San Diego.

Let me know!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

THANK YOU MEARA'S SCANNER!

Updates: this is harder than I imagined it to be. I never thought choosing travel destinations could bear resemblance to Sophie's choice. I really wish I had enough time and money to see all of you properly.

Regional F2Fs in L.A. and Seattle: In the two scenarios I planned to some extant (the "yes, you can afford this" scenario, and the "nope, you can only afford 2/3 of this" one), Seattle dates will between May 3/4 and 7. L.A. dates will be on May 7 till about May 10. From there it'll depend on what the travel agent will tell me I can afford - I got a name and number of a supposedly magical travel agent who can work wonders with small budgets. I'll be contacting her next week once the holiday is over. Either way, I'll definitely arrive to Chicago later. Other places I'm aiming for, depending on the answers I'll get next week: SF, NOLA, NC, and maybe another place on the East Coast. I'll also try to get a connection through Kansas City.

Also, just to make sure you guys won't worry for nothing: I'm mostly secular, so eating non-kosher is not a problem. However, I am vegetarian, avoid spicy food, fresh peppers and stuff that taste like anise, but that's it when it comes to limitations (I mean, we all know cilantro is evil, right?).
