Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Bay-area Buffistas: I will be running the first half of the SF Marathon July 27 at an ungodly early hour. I am staying with Megan Walker, but I’d love to meet up (assuming I’m not dead) for dinner that night. I fly home on Monday.

..And if anyone is crazy enough to get up at the crack of dawn to cheer me on, I’d love that too! But I don’t expect it. I’ll be running from about 5:45am to around 8:15 if I match my first half pace (a big if considering the hills, but I’m going to train hard for it). Here’s a link with info about the course and spectator info: [link]

The 1st Half Marathon covers the first half of The San Francisco Marathon. The race starts on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building, traversing San Francisco. The 1st Half Marathon runs through Fisherman’s Wharf, the Marina, across the roadbed of the Golden Gate Bridge, through the Presidio and finishes in Golden Gate Park. The course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifying race.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sunday night dinners are hard for me to manage. Would you be at all interested in some sort of post-race brunch gathering?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sadly, I'll be in San Diego then, but I wish you luck! Running across the Golden Gate Bridge is a memorable experience.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

shrift, would earlier or later be easier?

I’m pretty sure my running team is doing brunch, but maybe we could meet up for coffee that afternoon?

Thanks! It’s why I decided to do the first half this time. I will do the second half another year since that fulfills another medal challenge. (It’s all about the bling.)

Later would be my preference, but I can be flexible. My office is very close to the Loop, so I won't need much travel time.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Chicagoistas, I am in the loop and free this evening. Anyone want to dine?
