Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Just got a call from a scientist at the Paris Observatory congratulating me on my new president. His toddler was yelling OBAMA! in the background, and he said she definitely needed to go to bed was very excited about OBAMA!, though she didn't really understand what it was all about.

He said all the scientists were very relieved and hopeful.

Always Anti-fascist!

The starburst thing is from a Rich Lowry Palin column, that, thanks to Keith, makes me read "Rich Lowry" and think "Ew...that perv!" Love America...hate Arizona. But that's nothing new.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sometimes, its worth reading the Salon letters:

Yeah, once the Ewoks have stopped dancing they've got to get down to the business of goverment. But, y'know, it's not been a day yet, so for now: yub nub and fuck you.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Obama was called the winner very early, and there were probably a lot of people in California for whom Prop 8 was significant but not enough to get them to the polls once they knew Obama had won. The kind of people who think equal rights for gays doesn't impact their lives.

Connie, you might have something here. The urgency we felt in the early states must have been blunted for the late voters. Yet another reason people CANNOT take their votes for granted! It always counts!
