I hate the way McCain too. Maybe all that smarm and contempt and arrogance won't go over well. But it never has hurt arrogant bastards in the past 30 years. Completely different from being a smarty pants who knows stuff. An arrogant conceited bastard to who claims good emotional traits (like toughminded maverick) has always gone over well.
