You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

“Not dead yet!”

I got a call from the local RNC today, making sure I voted.

I told them I did.

They asked if I would mind sharing who I voted for.

I told the nice lady, "If I said I thought the Republican Vice-presidential candidate didn't have the intellectual capabilities or ethics of a single-celled organism and the idea that she could be within a heartbeat of the presidency terrified me, would that give you a clue?"

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cashmere - you home yet? Go buffista canvassers!

Yup. I got home earlier and had to take a nap. DST is kicking my ass.

1: I think I am going to rename Jake, Oz. They're both reheads.

2: Jake-Oz just tried to give me a love bite on the eyelid. Lovey headbutts will now be met with caution.

3: I am on laundry load #2.

4: Canadians are very smug about voting irregularities in the US. They're all like "How they can have difficulties in this day and age."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

MSNBC called Georgia for McCain.

The Daily Kos electoral map is being very careful about declaring states. Pennsylvania still shows undeclared. But Illinois has gone blue.

Holy crikeys, Texas is 50-50 on Kos.

I think I hear hoofbeats and seals being opened.

Our wings are not tired.

Connie, I know, right? And I tried to see if it was only Austin reporting, but it wasn't!

I told the nice lady, "If I said I thought the Republican Vice-presidential candidate didn't have the intellectual capabilities or ethics of a single-celled organism and the idea that she could be within a heartbeat of the presidency terrified me, would that give you a clue?"

Excellent. And, BWAH!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wow. Tim Robbins had to get a court order to cast his vote.
