You know me! I'm like, "Go school! It's your birthday!" Or something to that effect.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, Chris Matthews, shut the hell up.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The Times isn't calling anyone yet, and I am in love with their zoom-in-by-county map.

That's nifty. I've added another website to my election watch.

NYT also has a nice pop-up that shows who is calling what for whom. They are virtuously not calling anything; everybody else is.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

NBC called South Carolina for McCain, but CNN has Obama ahead there. I have no idea how the networks make these calls.

Best headline so far: "Help me, Wolf Blitzer, You're My Only Hope" (re: CNN hologram).

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have no idea how the networks make these calls.

It depends on how they're weighting the data they have at this point -- exit polls vs. raw precincts reported vs. the weighting of which precincts have reported.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have no idea how the networks make these calls.

hip deep in pie

Hey folks! I am watching the CBC results and doing laundry. They were interviewing the CBC correspondent and John McCain's headquarters, and in the background a band was playing "Nowhere Man." An omen?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Indiana and Georgia are too close to call;

I really never thought I'd see the day. I hope that teaches both parties that it's not safe to write off a state.

On the other hand, if we had had more than the never-ending Chambliss, Miller, Chambliss, Miller, Chambliss, Miller ads, my head might have exploded. Depressingly, both sides lied, lied and lied.
