I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Senate - I think that 57 seats is likely, but 60 is a possibility. I am very curious to see how the Alaskan Senate race goes - Uncle Ted might still be able to squeak by, but he might not. That's quite possibly where the 60th Dem seat will come from.

Not matter what, AK will go for McCain. Of course.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just had a meeting with someone who was talking about what we can expect if McCain wins. I was like, but he won't!! She was like, we don't know that...

Eek!!!

brillig

The children in my office--some of whom wouldn't be able to vote if they hadn't lowered the voting age to 18--are complaining, "They're only voting for Obama so they can have free welfare." I don't want to engage with that much silliness, so I ignore them. If Obama wins, I'm getting a picture to put up in my cubicle.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

"They're only voting for Obama so they can have free welfare."

I take it they don't know about the existing welfare program (which is already free)?

Facepunch.

Punishingly Intricate

Democrats were optimistic that the only two Democratic senators who will lose their Senate seats as a result of the national elections will be Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

My dad got a call from the Dems in DE reminding him to vote for Biden for his senate seat as well as for VP. I guess they assume people may get confused and think they can only vote for him for one or the other.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If Stevens wins and so does Obama, isn't the prevailing thought that he will step down and Palin will take the seat?

Where's the crazy lady who called for an un-American committee from? how's her race looking?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Jesus, Nate Silver is all over the place. Here he is in Newsweek: What to Watch For - An hour-by-hour guide to election night.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Ok- the one Democrat who voted for McCain at my office said she just decided in the past couple of weeks and I finally asked her what made her change her mind and she said that she read unbiased sources about Obama's association with terrorists. WTF is she talking about?

The Bachmann-Tinklenberg race is polling about even (in the high 40s) - that's a traditionally Repub district, but she's been putting her foot in her mouth for a couple weeks. So.

(Michelle Bachmann being the crazy MN House Rep.)
