I can still be president, right?
It depends on whether or not they were there as part of the diplomatic corps, etc. If they were there of their own volition, you can't be president.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

There were no lines, but this is Delaware. We'd kind of all have to go to the same polling place to make a decent line.
Not true! My family alone can make a rather substantial line!
Actually, a friend posted video of his polling place in DE which is one of my old middle schools (I went to several). There looked to be a ton of people there.
My sister-in-law was born in Germany to military parents but not on-base. She has a German birth certificate and a US certificate, but she had to get naturalization papers as well. I'm not sure if she's eligable--though probably just as well, with her fine-tuned grudge-o-meter.
ruh roh. Where is he? In CA? Or NY?
I'm thinking whichever that it's a random screw-up rather than deliberate tampering, because CA and NY? Not really swing states.

For reals? That sucks!

My parents cost me the presidency??!!? Just like them. Own volition in the sense that DuPont sent my father there. Though there is a faction of the family that thinks he was actually a secret govt. operative (they're very imaginative). But I guess that, being secret, wouldn't count.
Heh, lisah, I could NOT resist the Delaware is small joke, sorry. More chickens than people and all that...
For reals? That sucks!
And also this. SO not fair.
So if your parents are on vacation in Canada when you're born, you can't be US President? That's harsh, mang.
He and Susan live in my neighborhood!
I thought they lived in the West Village? At least, they did when I was at NYU. Their kids went to Grace.
somebody will live to regret that.
My parents cost me the presidency??!!?
It hasn't been litigated, yet, so you can still hope. But the theory is that you're not a natural-born citizen, but a statutory citizen.
