Longest line I've ever had at that polling site. There were more people sprawled around on the floor marking their ballots than using booths. But of course we were using the official pens for our Scantron ballots. It reminded me of my first college registration (with punch cards).
I'm trying to make a buttonneire out of the tops of my ballots.

Last night, I found a gift certificate for $100 from LiveLob.com that I had forgotten about winning (from WGN radio last fall), and when I looked at it, I found out it had expired yesterday! Arghh! So, I just called them to see if they'd still let me cash it in, and the operator said "No problem." I ordered two lobster tails from Tristan da Cunha, two pounds of snow crab claws, and two crab cakes for delivery after Thanksgiving. NOM NOM NOM!! (I did end up spending some of my own cash for that order--$100 doesn't go too far with seafood!)
