It took me over an hour to vote this morning. My district was split into two lines and they were BOTH out the door. On the down side, it was unbelievably hot in the auditorium and Dylan decided to throw a 30 minute tantrum. On the up side, he got to help me pull the lever. Yay civic duty for toddlers!

OMG - just encountered a co-worker NOT planning to vote. ?!?!? She "wishes we had better choices". I encouraged her to go after work - vote for things other then President if she didn't want to cast a vote for that, but to vote!! Daughter of immigrants who worked extremely hard to get to America and build a life here - and she is flippant about voting. I. Do. Not. Get. It.
