I got a little teary as I poked around the site sumi linked with Obama voting - the thousand kids in line at Penn State (or was it U Penn? Either way - teary).

Although, I remember distinctly having to go off campus to vote when I was in college. Voting for Dukakis. A hundred years ago.

The whole "It was just a joke" thing pisses me off too.

Making one copy to prank a friend is a joke, as long as you make clear to friend long before Election Day that you were only joking. Sending copies to complete strangers is NOT a joke.

Holy Crap!

My big! Boss's position has just been eliminated. The Dean is telling everyone herself and assures us that no other positions will be eliminated.

I am a little nauseaous, but I really disliked Big!Boss and thought she lacked integrity, so I hope this is a good thing!
