Calli, I gave up booze for a month a few years back and it was surprisingly easy. I was still going to bars on a regular basis. Giving up chocolate for Lent is much harder.

Giving up the booze hasn't been hard so far (although I miss wine with dinner, a little). And I doubt it'll be a problem tomorrow. It's just tonight that I really wish I could watch the returns come in over a double scotch, neat.

I had forgotten, but there's something screwy with the way the voting districts are set up in my neighborhood, so there were long lines at every other set of machines, but none at mine! So now I'm the first person into work.
