I'm kind of surprised that Shiba breeders don't use bits of colored ribbon or ric-rac to id the pups.
Me too -- hell, even in breeds where puppies look different, I'm so used to Blue Boy and Green Girl and so on...

Puppycam is ZOOMING IN.
Man, they are even more cute in close up.
This puppycam is making me want to run around me office screaming "puppies! Puppies! PUPPIES!!!!"
There's one pup who's always sleeping draped over a sib's head.
OMG the puppy snorgling.
Bayistas - cheap midday drink alert! (from EaterSF)
The famous John's Grill—home of the Maltese Falcon, noted Dashiell Hammett haunt and all-around San Francisco classic—rings in its 100th anniversary this month (think about that one). To commemorate the occasion, owner John Konstin will be offering eight-cent drinks from 11:30am to 3:30pm on Friday November 14th. Only two eight-cent drinks per customer (though there are always normally-priced ones after that), but two stiff, old-school martinis for a few nickels should be more than enough to make that Friday afternoon at work a fairly memorable one.
So, the perfect end to my work-induced rage-filled morning? The same company that can't seem to provide lunch for an 11am-2pm meeting, just bought lunch for the whole floor downstairs. For no reason. We were invited to join them about 5 minutes after I returned from buying my own lunch. Aaargh. I am so over this place.
We got a picture of one of my coworkers in his halloween costume. We've successfully convinced him we are not putting it up on the department website. .

Real nice, Sara.
Here is why my job is fun sometimes: I was frantically finishing something for the Big Boss so she could deal with it before she got on a plane, when my direct boss (and friend) busts into my office saying I have to stop what I'm doing and look at the email she just sent. It's someone we work with at the Today Show costume contest! In a hilarious costume! Good times.
