I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Shir, the phrase "on every level" is much more common, but if someone had many levels where things could be placed, I could see "in every level" being used.

hip deep in pie

Msbelle, I am trying not to buy new clothes to compensate for my new computer. Though I think I may have to get a couple of new pairs of pants suitable for work to get me through the winter.

I find that bringing lunch with me is a huge money saver. It's not just the money I spend on lunch, but also the other things I might happen to buy when I go out at lunch that make the dent.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

bringing lunch is a big cost saver. I am finding it saves at least 50% per meal, still I only manage it about twice a week. If I could bring that up to 3-4 times per wekk, plus keep my coffee purchase down to once a week, then I've saved enough to cover the house helper. But it is not getting ahead at all.

I managed to get a new suit and work shirt vis freecycle earlier this year and did buy 2 shirts and 2 skirts before I started the buying ban. Basically, I have more clothes than I need and should purge about a quarter of it.

Mac is constantly growing, so I am stuck with buying for him. Still,I am buying less than I did a year ago because he tends to wear the same 3-4 things over and over.

bringing lunch instead of buying it is a huge money saver for us.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ION, McCain Now Feuding With JOE THE PLUMBER

Could they just be competent for maybe one hour of a single day? First, we laughed as McCain called out in vain for his savior of the week, the utterly random showboating jackass “plumber” in Ohio, then we learned this Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher eventually showed up at a later rally and refused to endorse McCain, and now CNN is reporting that this bald-headed rat-eyed fame-crazed serial liar is publicly feuding with the McCain campaign, using the usual McCain campaign system of internal disputes: Blabbing to the press.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is a 3 inch pancake 3 inches in radius or 6? 3, right? Who eats pancakes that small?

3 inches in thickness, so 8.23 feet in diameter.

ION, a client sent me a printout of a report. I printed it, not realizing the whole thing was 47 pages. Now I feel guilty for killing .0682% of a tree....

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

A 3" pancake to me means 3" in diameter. Smaller than that is "dollar size." Normal size for me is 4" to 6" diameter. Size usually depends on how many people I am making for, and whether I am playing with shapes.

If it makes you feel better it was probably a tree from a tree farm rather than a free range tree.
