Sometimes they kind of look dead. [ETA: the puppies] But real dogs are like that too when they're that kind of crashed out relaxed. Sometimes you have to poke them just to be sure.
(Oh god, I just remembered this. A few nights ago, Lucy was lying with her back leg (singular) tucked up underneath her so you couldn't see it and I totally kicked her to make her move because it freaked me out so much. I don't even feel bad about it.)
Noah? Grubby? Unpossible.
ita, I hate to tell you this, but you mostly have seen him clean. I mean, he's a little messy. But I picked him up at daycare and went to see folks and he was all super dirty from that. Just holding him made my white shirt not so clean and it wasn't even a shoe issue.
aurelia, thank you so so so so much! You rule!
Hey Kat, did you get my e? What's your schedule?
I did. Sorry, Allyson.
Um. We have Grace's halloween party tomorrow. Then I have saturday school. Sunday we have an outing at Descanso Gardens.
hrm...give me a time that's most convenient for you, and I'll be right here.
ETA: Or we could do dinner next week?
Saturday evening we'll be home. Pretty much we're in by 5:30.
Breaking news: The Big Giant Hand just came into the puppy pile. Very fourth-wall-ish. Now, mass puppy-wrestling.
But three are dead still.
Only one now!
Also, if you haven't seen Steven Colbert work out who the next president will be via word association, you really really should.
(Also also: in the middle of it he calls himself Colber
t
with a hard T. Don't think I've ever seen him do that before.)
