What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

Punishingly Intricate

My lunch was unsatisfactory. I think my picker is broke! I had fried calamari and pumpkin tom ka from the thai place around the corner. The calamari wasn't bad but fried, so unhealthy, and the tom ka was bland and disappointing.

I'm going to make myself nachos for dinner so that should be good.

The question now is do I go out for afternoon snack?

Jesse, I gave you Matt Damon video.

ION, the Naked Protein Smoothie I got is NAST. I failed to look at the label closely. I saw bananas, but it is banana and CHOCOLATE and yuck. Still it has lots of protein and iron and I need both right now, so I am sipping and chasing with coffee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had some bulgogi situation, which was fine, but expensive, and I wish I had had something more spicy and/or soup-like.

I guess I will handle that desire with chili for dinner.

Seriously, people need to (a) get off my case, (b) stop annoying me, and (c) leave me alone. Also, this day needs to end. I'm seriously contemplating writing off the rest of the afternoon and working over the weekend.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Did you know that if you call FEMA for disaster assistance, and all their operators are busy, they just hang up on you? Isn't that funny! Ha. Ha ha.

(No, I don't need disaster assistance, but I need some fucking form so we can sell the house.)

OK, I do not hate you or Matty D.

Actually, I am not cranky with any of you people here. It's just stupid work. Stupid work!!!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I had a great little quesadilla with an absurdly expensive organic corn tortilla with jalapeno and cotija cheese. And some candied ginger.

I love candied ginger, so yummy.

I don't even know what to think about the election anymore, it's just gone completely into crack!fic land. I am half expecting Rodney McKay and John Sheppard, as dueling political consultants, to show up and start necking on the Daily Show.

hip deep in pie

I had samosas for lunch and they sat in my tummy like a lump. Damn you fried food!

Also, I was supposed to be off on Monday, and I have to come in. I am not happy.

have people heard the concerns about people still registered at foreclosed on addresses not being able to vote? If yu know anyone who was foreclosed on and lost their home, have them check out if their voter registration is still valid. That group does not to be disenfranchised.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm looking forward to tonight's Uzbek dinner (they've got a big group coming--13 so far). I was looking through the website's thread on Chaihanna and thinking that the urama looked really good, as do the spicy egglant and carrot dishes. Oh, and I'll have to try the chak-chak for dessert.

I figure with that big of a group, we'll probably order most if not all of the menu, so I'll be able to taste a lot of what's available (they're really into passing dishes around at their F2Fs, I've heard).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

WaMu failure may have been accelerated by people withdrawing their savings. Has it come to that? Can BofA and ING disappear tomorrow and take my pittance with them?
