More and more reason to vote for the man. Truly a generous heart.
Although I doubt he actually wrote the letter, it says something that either 1) he felt it was important to direct his staff to do it, or 2) his staff (on its own) felt it was important. Both of these things are good signs.
Also, that kid is from near where I grew up. It's not often I see a link to
The Hartford Courant.

And props to Obama for hiring a staff that is capable of writing such a great letter.
Ahhh, a puppy classic. One scratches his ear with his hind leg, notices the foot near his mouth, gnaws on the foot and topples over backwards.

This was exactly what I thought. It doesn't take too much effort to put together an interesting letter for a kid to read and share with his classmates, and it just so happens that the teacher found it interesting enough to share with the media, so--double-bonus for Obama's staff!
Puppy pile! While the other two are wrestling in the corner!
Maybe they're warming up for the Puppy Bowl. (Or will they be too old by then?)

I don't know if he did, and I class this with baby kissing. Still, you could dictate it into a tape in five minutes and have somebody type it up. It's the kind of made up story you do for your kids almost every day.

No, these are way young.
But it looks like they exhausted themselves. Back to sleep.
I don't know if I want a puppy or just want to be a puppy.

Oh Kathy A, I like your tagline. I thinking it'd make a good tagline when I read his post....
