How do you schedule a meeting from 11:00 to 1:30 and not serve lunch? Annoyed. Especially since the NY office clearly had lunch at Tuesday's meeting (which ran from 12 to 3 Eastern).

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am, apparently, in election technology fandom. And nobody's writing good fic.
Did you check the comments on Coates this morning? I mean, I haven't checked yet, but there was apparently something like that going on. Only, of course, with the mind to How Can They Steal It? Which is DarkFic, possibly ApocoFic. So may not be what you're in the mood for.
Have I mentioned yet that TNC is my favorite? Because he so totally is.
My car broke down in traffic this morning as I took Emmett to school. No fun.
But Emmett's at school, we didn't get rear-ended in traffic, the car's at the shop and I'm at work.
Also, my roadside service operator was nice.
I might need to eat oatmeal now.
Sorry about your car, no fun indeed.
I did not get a candidate cookie - GCT is too far to walk for lunch. I did get a cupcake though - YAY.
Boo car troubles - that sounds stressful.
I am even more unmotivated to work than normal - that's saying a lot. I think fear of a talking to about internet usage may be what I need.
The Jack Skellington bento box is awesome. I wish I had someone to make me cute bento lunches, because I SO do not have the time for it.
Hec, I'm sorry for the car troubles.
ION, oooh, the donut fairy visited the office today! There was a donut sitting on my desk this morning. I asked my boss, and she said the BigBoss of our org went around distributing donuts this morning.
msbelle, I am here to give you a strict talking-to about your internet usage. Get back to work, missy!
For lunch, I am having a sandwich. Made with multi-grain bread, with smoked turkey, cream cheese, cranberries, onion and lettuce. Very nummy.
meep! also, mail went off to you today.
I would like approx 8 million more cupcakes please. thank you.
Ugh. It's a $320 fix.
But I checked with EM's BF (who owns his own mechanic business - but they specialize in big rigs and they're a county away, so he can't do the car). He said that fixing the o-ring in the thermostat housing is the cheapest fix for this problem, barring a loose hose from the coolant tank.
Price is a little steep because it's placed behind the A/C unit and they have to pull that entirely out to get at the thermostat. (Stupid stupid Chrysler design! God your designers suck in so many ways it would take me an hour to recite your failings!)
Being a good guy, EM's BF is going to swing by the shop and talk mechanic-to-mechanic. Thus ensuring some small measure of not-being-hosed.
