Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But... it's godless money! The "In God We Trust" doesn't work!

But yeah, I heard about Dole attacking on this issue a while ago... maybe it was PZ complaining.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Rancho Cucamonga

One of my favorite place names! (Also in the running: Bala Cynwyd, to look at.)

Ugh. Have to remember NOT to read Shakesville. Makes me want to take a clue stick to the chromatically challenged feminists like whoa.

Note to white feminists: yes, in point of fact, not all hangings in effigy have equal current-day cultural weight. To claim otherwise is to make you look really freaking stupid. REALLY freaking stupid.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, man, there is just crazy nuttiness happening in Boston politics- one of the state senators has been busted taking bribes and fixing issues like land grants and liquor licenses. She's also been sent up for tax evasion and campaign finance regulations over the past 10-15 years. My oh my oh my. It's big news here, because of her train wreck persona that keeps getting elected AND it exposes just how crooked and corrupt Boston politics are.

Crazy!!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Plei, dude, step AWAY.

er, now I'm a little nervous about bringing up Wilkerson, who is actually a black woman- the only black person in the Senate. It definitely charges the issues and makes attacks and defenses fraught with potential, um, awfulness.

Nora, is it wrong that when I clicked through, my first thought was that it was kind of awesome for there to be a Black woman in Boston with the power to fix things like that? Used to be, only the Irish could get you a liquor license!! t /gross generalization

I wouldn't worry, Nora -- the thing Plei was ranting about completely doesn't apply to the Wilkerson story. You're ranting about someone who's done some geniunely boneheaded things -- she's talking about people whining that attacks on Palin are every bit as bad as attacks on Obama. Whole different vibe.

HAR!!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I like this video of a hockey mom for Obama singing "Don't Speak for Me, Sarah Palin."

Yep! (The Shakesville post about the unfunny and stupid Palin West Hollywood Halloween effigy and its comments were my trigger.) As for the other, I'm with Jesse!
