Just saw this on Apple's home page and was very happy:
No on Prop 8
Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign. Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights — including the right to marry — should not be affected by their sexual orientation. Apple views this as a civil rights issue, rather than just a political issue, and is therefore speaking out publicly against Proposition 8.
Go Apple!

It's just that simple America! Wake the fuck up!
Also, my support of Apple products over the years is helping people get gay-married! (Hopefully, anyway. Is No on Prop 8 ahead in the polls?)
The latest LA Times poll (10/23) shows 52-44 (with a margin of sampling error of 3 points) against Prop 8.
Ooh. That's a pretty good lead. (Compared to the recent past, anyway.)
My Orange County coworker was just saying how depressing it is to see all the Yes on 8 people in her town.
Not surprising for Orange County.
I wish the No on 8 ads were more like this (by a friend of my prospective TAR partner): [link]

Man that makes me even more happy that my electronic life is so heavily Apple-based.

Wow, I guess I'm biased by my region and expected it to pass easily. Missouri's amendment passed with 70% of the vote.
