I've been following it at Cute Overload, but I'm sure there's a more direct link somewhere else.
Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Hivemind: is there a standard conversion of words to minutes when you're writing a speech? I need to write a 15-minute talk (that will not actually be delivered), and have no idea what ballpark to be thinking about in terms of word or page count.
I think the rule of thumb is two minutes a double-spaced page.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
Wow, I've never seen a picture of an epidexipteryx before.

And here's what it would have looked like in life (only the colors are imaginary). It would have been about the size of a pigeon — I think a pack of these scurrying about New York's Times Square would be both scenic and would quickly clean up the pigeon problem there.
I totally want one....

That sounds about right. I think I usually tried to make my 20-minute conference talks between 10-12 pages.
Note: Double-spaced, with real margins (i.e., 1 inch, and not Word's new default of 1.25).
