Librarian Warlord

My dog would eat any costume I attempted. She's a contortionist and has been known to eat through a collar that she's wearing.

not your mom's socks.

I told you not to use that bacon collar on Sass.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Can anyone help me with a question? I want to get hold of software that'll allow me to generate a map of the US with state colours user-defined. I'm up to do a speech in Toastmasters on Nov 3, so I figure it'll have to be about the Presidential election. I'd like to be able to make some visual aids for it. (I gave a speech last year on the US electoral system, but only got through the House and Senate before running out of time.)

“Not dead yet!”

When I was trying to convince Tim that Kato the dog NEEDED a pimp dog costume (what? it has a purple velvet coat! and a big purple velvet hat WITH A FEATHER),

No dog and I mean, no dog needs a pimp dog costume. Jeez, Tep, we've had this conversation. It's just sick and wrong.

And Ginger, I'm glad you came to your senses before succumbing to the evil vortex of Target and dressing the dog as a lobster.

This is why I have really large dogs. The temptation to dress them, not that I've ever had it, is lessened considerably.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I dunno. But if you can't find anything, how about using The Gimp? Since it's scriptable, you could have a file with a list of states with the color you want for each state, and the coordinates of a single point in the state. Then have a script that will fill each state (specified by the coordinate you have) with the color you want.

I can see this being a PITA to figure out if you don't know The Gimp and script fu, so hopefully you'll find an easier solution.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think Scooby Doo is a GREAT costume for a dog -- people dress as other people after all.

Tep, you pick up that dog's hair. It's not like disagreeing with "Daddy" is going to cause emotional harm. Get the pimp costume!
