My weekend will be cleaning and taking the Kids to a Halloween event. Hopefully it will better than the weekend of auto repair, minor plumbing, and work that was last weekend.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I kind of wish though that people weren't paying so much attention to Palin's wardrobe, because in the overall picture of all the things wrong with her and the McCain campaign in general, this really shouldn't be the thing that gets this much attention.
Yeah - I'd be more down with that if nobody ever made a fuss about Edward's $400 haircut. Or Clinton's $200 haircut. A lot of the cost in both cases was having the haircut come to them rather than going to the haircut. If they don't get a break on this, than don't see why Palin should get one.
Will someone please tell me to get back to working on my self-eval? I have to have it done before I leave here in 90 minutes, but I don't wanna work on it!!!
Weekend: Gay wedding in GG Park and 8 yr old Halloween themed birthday party. Both on Saturday. Whee!
Do your self-eval Kathy!! Do it for America!!
Allyson -- when appropriate remind them that it will take 3 people to do your job....
DH has never left a job where it didn' t take at least 2 people to replace him. makes the current situation at his job still stupid, but hey that is the way it goes... and they will suffer.
Yes, sir, Mr. Gudanov, sir!!
But first, a caffeine run. To the Diet Coke machine, away!
My work here is done.
I love when Gud gets bossy.
Can't donate a lot now, but I think being with people that are doing something positive is good for my soul right now
I'm thinking about going to an Obama calling party in my neighborhood for similar reasons....Also to make up for the fact that I never called most of the numbers I got from them the other week.
Good lord. Mac's school is doing some sort of family project. The word of the day today was "father" and the homework included "bring In a baby picture."
Mac's sentences for word of the day: "I don't have a father." And "He does have a father."
I have asked that family projects be avoided. Why do they have to do one every g-d year? Seriously. Are family trees that crucial to elementary education?
So now I write the note to school explaining that he has no baby pictures and that he may have some issues if this is an ongoing project. And I wait for the at home outburst that will come from "being different than everyone else's project" and "thinking about my other moms make me sad".
