as a follow-up to tommyrot's link, all I can say is, huh?
And as a follow-up to Kathy A's story, I was in the bookstore the other day and a young couple was in line behind me with their daughter, perhaps two. Her father was holding her and he pointed to a book with Obama on the cover and said "who's that?". The little girl looked hard for a minute and then said "Obama!", very proud of recognizing him.

Yeah, ita, I just got to school two hours after I left home. Not. Fun.
The UCLA BruinAlert system gave me a heads up on the situation via email this morning or I'd have been smack dab in the middle of the Sepulveda Pass. Glad my money's being put to good use!
Yikes, you guys -- stay safe!
