I read that yesterday, and, while its really fucking hysterical, it ALSO captures it perfectly. Given how different Obama and McCain are, I cannot fathom how someone can be undecided at this point.
I finally did get this -- I can understand it from people who have severe problems with both of them, but are not yet checked out of politics entirely.

I think most undecideds are people who are unhappy with the Republicans and don't really like McCain, but are afraid of Obama. So that's why Obama's campaign has been purposefully designed to show Obama as calm, approachable, cool under pressure, and reassuring.
And I think most of the undecideds have tipped towards Obama because of the success of that campaign.

Although some have argued it's more to do with the utterly reprehensible campaign McCain and Palin have run.
As long as they tip (and vote), the purity of their motives doesn't interest me much.

Despite the apparent danger, the trainers are never at risk. They've found that in the water people and tigers are on a more equal footing
Good to know.
A tiger... in Africa?!?
No, in the pool.
Timelies all!
Once again, I'm tired. bleah.
Oh lord. Devi ripped off one of her claws. Just a little pink stump. No idea when she did this, probably in the last week. I'll keep an eye on it.
Sigh.
I need a frequent shopper card for the vets.
How much does it cost to go to Vet School?
Oh no! poor Devi!
Interestingly, I did a little survey of the people I work with to see what they think I should do with my life, and 3 of them said I should be a vet! But I don't think I could take the animal death/suffering. The others thought I should so into marketing!?!
Skipping ahead to say thank you for the birthday wishes and happy belated birthday to Cash and Matt.
More when I've caught up at work and here.
Apologies to Buffistas (and other nice people I know) living there, but there's always Utah to retreat to.
In the meantime, I'm happy to report that very few McCain/Palin signs were spotted in either Utah or Arizona. In Utah we saw
tons
of Obama signs. Tons. And not just in the crunchy boho places.
