'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ack, Shir, that's awful!

Nilly, have a wonderful Hippo Birdies of a day, K?

I have an interview this morning (yay!) but it's with a bottom-feeding recruiter firm (boo!) that trolls Monster.com for tyro programmers that it can place in less than glamorous jobs (boo!). OTOH -- me, tyro programmer trying to move over to .NET and web dev in general. So I may be able to use them. At least I've got my eyes open.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday to Nilly!

May the interview be better than expected, Theo.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Nilly!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Happy birthday, Nilly!

“Not dead yet!”

Happy Birthday, Nilly.

And heaven save us from 19 year olds with broken hearts. Why don't they just jump off bridges anymore? (Points to anyone who gets the reference, tacky though it may be.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good luck, Theodosia!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Nilly!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Nilly!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Happy Nillyday!

Swouncing

Oh, you guys! Thank you, each and every one of you!

It's not the 22nd and not the 23rd. It's the Hebrew date of today (which, in order to confuse you even further, starts from the previous evening. Honestly, when you live through this and get used to this, it doesn't sound like an SAT question just to know when to wish a happy birthday. Even with timezones!).

Oh, and the best part of this birthday is, that this year my Hebrew birthday date coincides with the general date of today, which is Emmett's birthday. This is the Buffista Calendar's birthday present to me.

Happy birthday, Emmett! With lots and lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year (insert a baseball-appropriate wish here).

[Edit: FAY! It's been forever since I posted with you! How wonderful to see your font! How are you doing?]
