Obamamatic for the people
This is making me laugh so hard!
Upstate NY (the counties) seems to be a pocket of Right Wing in a Left Wing state, which is rather annoying. The cities are still Democrat in name. Also, something like 2/3 of our city officials are Republicans who changed to Democrats because the city won't elect a repub, and the county won't elect a Dem. It is pretty weird.
I'm glad, lisah. Another vet med is Fosters and Smith. (From what I remember, you had an unusual insulin.)
What was the movie (late '70s - early '80s?) about the family where one kid had died in a boating accident and the other kid was in therapy and the parents ended up separating because the mom resented the surviving kid because she had loved the other kid more? That was also a North Shore movie....
That's right unlike you commie left coasters and north easterners, I live in a wonderful little pocket of the real America, a pro-America area of this great nation where people are hard working and patriotic.
I bet if I lived in the real America, I could have biked to work in 40 minutes this morning...stupid liberal elite construction workers blocking my way on AND OFF the Manhattan Bridge!
Obviously we should have named it the Real America Bridge To Freedom And Pie. Then it wouldn't need so much maintenance work.
Obamamatic for the people!
That's great! Can I tag?
Like flea, I live in a very blue pocket of a red state. An occasional pollster suggests that Obama might have a chance to win Georgia, but it seems very unlikely. Both candidates' organizations have decided that Georgia isn't American enough to court.
The senatorial race is possible, though. My plan was to vote early, but early voting is swamped. If I'm going to stand in a line, I'd rather stand in a line on Nov. 4.

Ordinary People

Oh, yes, the more expensive one I was looking at was actually the PZI Vet (which he used to be on) and that site was marketing his kind for dogs. He's on pork insulin which is about $30 a bottle. mmm bacony!
Sure, Ginger. I may even be able to scare you up an actual bumper sticker if you want.
Late for the city impressions discussion yesterday:
New York--His Girl Friday, Mame, Johnny Dangerously, Starsky & Hutch(series)
Paris--Amélie, Paris je t'aime
London--Georgie Girl, Metroland, Trainspotting
Los Angeles--Sunset Boulevard, The Maltese Falcon, L.A. Confidential, Cast a Deadly Spell
Tokyo--Godzilla, Rising Sun
Rome--Roman Holiday
Berlin-Cabaret
Sure, Ginger. I may even be able to scare you up an actual bumper sticker if you want.
Hmmm.... I'm sensing some anti-America behavior here. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in this thread and find out are they pro-America or anti-America.

Maybe they've been to DragonCon.
