Yeah, I think this is right -- it's an act of "OMG we have a CRISIS!!1! To the Batmobile!", and he didn't count on the fact that everyone has noticed by now that he's not Batman but just that creepy guy who walks around the neighborhood wearing tights that are starting to sag around the knees after one too many washings.
OMG, this made me laugh so hard, I was wheezing and the dogs were skeered
I don't think there are any big developments in the future except for the debates. Obama needs to be more straightforward, McCain and Biden need to avoid gaffes, and apparently Palin needs to be coherent.
Part of me is still waiting for Bushie to cancel the election. And I'm not even kidding.
Combine this thought with this cheery news from yesterday:
"beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the [1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry Division] will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North" -- "the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to NorthCom, a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts and coordinate defense support of civil authorities."
and it gets pretty scary.
Another Palin video for the masochists among us:
All you can say is: unbelievable. Except it's true. She is the vice-presidential candidate of a national political party. Seriously:
Palin On Russia
Damn. I almost feel kinda' bad for her, seeing her struggle to say... something that makes any sense.
Not to distract from the political talk, but this is pretty cool

That reminds me, I'm going to a local Uzbek restaurant with people from another board on Friday night.
You're seeing another BOARD?!?!?!? Strumpet.
I do NOT feel bad for Sarah Palin, bitch made me late to work today. Her rediculous* motorcade had my street blocked off.
We're right in Rockefeller Center. If I were Tina Fey I'd have gone for a stroll and caused a riot.
* And by rediculous I mean it included at least four press vans. Seriously? You need four vans full of reporters to not speak to?
You're seeing another BOARD?!?!?!? Strumpet.
Hee! I was waiting for someone to call me on that. I was going to confess to my future indiscretion and beg for preemptive forgiveness, but I figured I'd get in some yummy noms in first before seeing how guilty I feel for cheating on y'all.
Unless, of course, any Chicago-istas would like to venture out to Buffalo Grove tomorrow night to join me there?

I wish. You and Kathy have made me really want to try that restaurant. (Not to mention see your lovely selves.)
In Moscow we went to a fantastic Georgian restaurant that my brother says is a hugely popular choice. So it's not just here.

Hey, brenda, do you have a link for this? I saw a headline at reddit and dismissed it as tinfoil hattery, so I'd like to actually get the story.
