You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

True stories, told in one sentence.

Addictive.

The status is NOT quo.

New York- Huh. I grew up just a couple of hours away, so I'm not sure if my first images of NYC came from a movie or television show. I think the first book I read that featured NYC was A Cricket in Times Square, though.

Paris- Aristocats, American in Paris, Gigi

London- Mary Poppins, Peter Pan (Disney cartoon version), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, A Little Princess (the Shirley Temple version)

LA- Singing in the Rain, LA Story

Rome- The Italian Job, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Much Ado About Nothing, The Wings of the Dove

Berlin- Cabaret, The Bourne Supremacy

Tokyo- Lost in Translation, without a doubt, and Godzilla

Australia- Crocodile Dundee (sorry, billytea!)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Australia- Crocodile Dundee (sorry, billytea!)

Mine was Skippy! Which was like Flipper but with a kangaroo.

OOh. I got a major impression of Australia from Gallipoli.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy shit, I can't believe this baseball game.

Tampa's going to take its top prospect, #1 draft pick, stud rookie pitcher David Price and basically he's got to get an out and they'll go on to the World Series or it'll be over.

Well, actually he's got a little wiggle room and there's one more inning, but baseball doesn't work like that. It builds to a dramatic moment and that moment is here and they threw their youngest into the lion's den.

He'll be throwing 95 at J.D. Drew and we'll see what happens.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oof! And he got him. Blew him away with 97mph.

Way to go, Meat. Now go wash your flip flops before they get moldy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Rays win 3-1. Price closes it out. (And utterly exposes Varitek, who can't hit anymore, despite his one key home run.)

World Series is the TV exec nightmare: Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays.

Very gutty comeback by the Red Sox, though.
