Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Orange is not your color. Better to vent until you gather a few Buffistas to provide alibis.

It's a good thing they don't wear the black and white stripes anymore. Husbands ::coughpetecough:: would not be safe.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I was watching a movie that I was extremely interested in while DH was (I assumed) already asleep, upstairs. I had to trim a hanging toenail so I clipped them in front of the tv.

DH walked downstairs and asked me what the noise was. He has this thing about nail clipping so most of the time I clip them outside. Um, MIDNIGHT--NOT going on the porch to clip my fucking toenails. He snapped at me then went back upstairs.

Now I'm just thinking of the million little things he does that drive me NUTS that I never mention.

Ima make a list then burn it.

Swouncing

Skipping oh-so-much to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is a double Buffista birthday: both Burrell's as well as Calli's.

Happy birthday, Burrell! Happy birthday, Calli! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh! Happy birthdays, Burrell and Calli! Yay!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

From the news: few of the Jewish natives of Jerusalem tried to attack and starting fights with Arab natives tonight. 3 of them are in the hospital now, and it just been reported that an ultra-orthodox Jew tried to throw stones at Arab cars.

Pardon, didn't we all have enough bloodshed by now? Face it, we're not going anywhere, they're not going anywhere. Learn to live together. Don't pick up fights, especially not in a city that can drag the whole area to war.

The stupidity. It's killing me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

::pat-pats Shir and Cashmere::

I was kinda-sorta productive yesterday and actually solved the programming problem that stymied me for most of the past week for my final Flash class project. Now I can just concentrate on making it pretty....

not your mom's socks.

oh good lord Cashmere.

...

yeah. that's all I've got. Say no to the orange jumpsuit.

We took an awesome walk in the woods yesterday morning, and I did a little work on the butterfly wings for I's costume, using a stash of foamies 11 x 14s that I found in one of the cabinets. Of course, this morning, she says she wants to be a tiger.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In news of does-anyone-still-care: Colin Powell endorses Obama. And still spouting odd nonsense about "up until April 8, when the statues fell, the war was great. Everybody thought the war looked great."

OTOH, he's hitting hard in his statement about Ayers, that whackjob Michelle Bachman, Obama as Muslim, and now the "spread the wealth" idiocy.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sox, those wings are amazingly beautiful. Seriously cool.

I got nuthin' this morning, except I'm supposed to go to a potluck and I have nothing prepare to bring. I'm a mommy failure.
