A new blog for y'all, just chock full o' cuteness: ZooBorns
ZooBorns brings you the newest and cutest exotic animal babies from zoos and aquariums around the world. As you can see, the site itself is a newborn, but we're here to stay, so check back frequently for new critters!
Currently, the top post features baby red pandas! And then it's Bouncing Baby Beluga, followed by Tiny Ocelot Kittens Born at the Woodland Park Zoo. Also, Black Footed Ferret Pup and Baby Tigers Born at Honolulu Zoo.
Oh yeah, we used to do the same thing-- the school would buy one set of sheet music with X number of parts and if we needed extra copies, we'd just Xerox.
Yeah. I hated when we only had music for E Flat French horns, when all of us played French horns in F. I hated having to transcribe in my head as I played.

ACK! Me too!! That was such a PITA.
Ok - I think we need to do another former-French Horn player roll call. There are a lot more of us than I remember.
Me!
Former French Horn player here.
That's four - we're halfway to a full section.
Get enough of us and we can play a John Williams score. I was just listening to Jurassic Park.
Oooh... Symphonic Metamorphoses!
When I was in Jr. high and high school, I was the only one with a French Horn that my parents bought for me (it lacked the thumb valve, making the high notes more difficult to play). Anyway, just the other day I was wishing my parents still had it, cuz it'd be fun to try to play it again.
