Hil, he wasn't talking about intensive training and conditional certification. They shouldn't have to bother with certification at all. It's unfair.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm watching off and on, and didn't see the remark that prompted this, but that sounds like how Teach For America works -- about six weeks of intensive training over the summer, and then start teaching with conditional certification.
No, it wasn't (to my understanding) like Teach for America. I'll go back and find it later.
What's the snorty little smartass "I got it" comment? The fuck? Dude, you can't pull of Palin's schtick, I'm sorry.

Just stick them in the classroom with no training?
Please reassure me it isn't mean to shut MK in the bathroom for the night. It's the only way I'll be able to leave him with food and drink the other cats won't consume. (I've had to sit next to him fending them off.) I'd shut him in the bedroom with me, but then I'd have to shut one of the others in the bathroom and they are yellers and diggers and no one would sleep. He'll be all...yeah...huh...what? OK, food, bed. Good.
I only have so many doors.
I'm not watching the debate.
Has anyone heard this? From Wonkette: JESUS FOX NEWS, COULD YOU AT LEAST TRY?:
“Colin Powell showed off his hip-hop moves at an ‘Africa Rising’ celebration in London Tuesday, fueling speculation that the former secretary of state is about to endorse Barack Obama for president.” Well you can’t argue with that kind of logic! [Fox News]
I think MK will be happy to have his own food supply and a quiet room in which to sleep sleep sleep. Cats like to sleep.
Bathroom might be the kindest place for him tonight -- I know you want him to be with you, but he'll have the right food and a cushy place and some quiet.
If he just would! I swear, it's the opiates. His pupils are all HUGE.
Honey, it's not mean-- it gives him peace and quiet and access to food and water. If it makes you feel better, put something in there that smells of you-- that might help him out as well.
