Ciptak, a blood bank employee for the American Red Cross, said he named his third child after John McCain and Sarah Palin to "to get the word out" about the campaign.
I think people have heard about the campaign.
Maybe just a little.

McCain's transition chief aided Saddam in Lobbying effort:
William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.
The two lobbyists who Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.
Yeah but... umm....
OK, I can't make up any plausible-sounding excuse for McCain. I eagerly wait to see what excuse McCain's brilliant staff will invent.

"I’m very very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing…any hint of any kind of unethical activity there...”
I'll agree that Sarah Ciptak is a better name than McCain Ciptak or Palin Ciptak. On the other hand, unilaterally overruling a spouse on something as important as what to name the baby? Very. Not. Good.
I just voted...in the Canadian Federal Election.
Also, I am watching Mike Rowe inseminate turkeys. It's very funny.
Yeah, that was hilarious. Gross, but hilarious.

I want to a very bad, yet still funny, place with this.
"I’m very very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing…any hint of any kind of unethical activity there...”
Isn't that completely the case, though? Timmons' associates were convicted. It's done. If Timmons was not charged, presumably that's because there wasn't enough evidence of a crime, despite what looks to be a thorough investigation of his partners. This is the same shit as the Ayers/Wright smears. It credits no one to say it's appropriate.
Ugh, ita. Sorry for the car.
It's legal to kill bus drivers sometimes, right? Like, when you're getting on an express bus, which apparently changed its number to the local line when you're already on it, along with half of the passengers, and spending another 30 minutes next to a vomiting (thought cute. Hey, he was very quiet) child?
Just wondering, that's all.
SO going to bed now. Grrrrr.
