Argh -- I just learned I fucked up some federal paperwork that was supposed to have been done a few weeks ago. Bah.
That's what probably set off the worldwide financial crisis.

Very, very dirty. And scurrilous. Hec would love it.
Scurrilous and dirty, that's me.
Among the tasks awaiting me when I arrive at work today: dragging a 27 liter bottle of wine down to the cellar using a little red wagon. (Also a 15L bottle, 4 9L bottles, several 6L bottles and about 12 3L bottles.)

I double down on your "Bah."
27 liter bottle of wine
Don't drink it all at once.
Poor Jesse.
I told my boss this damned well better be a case of a $500 hairball. He probably thinks I'm insane.
With the diabetes, I just can't fool around.
Don't drink it all at once.
Or if you do, drink a bunch of water too.
ION, in what Sullivan described as "Nut on Nut Action", Alan Keyes on Sarah Palin: Gov. Sarah Palin: Unequally yoked
Basically, Keyes says Palin is "risking her moral and spiritual integrity by placing herself under the authority of someone who has provably abandoned God's will on the most fundamental moral issues of our times." i.e. McCain. Wacky stuff. Like this:
During her campaign for office, she is reported to have said, "Elected officials can't defy the court when it comes to how rights are applied." (Anchorage Daily News, Online Edition, Aug. 6, 2006) This view vitiates the separation of powers, and would establish a judicial dictatorship over every aspect of legislation (since all legislation involves issues of rights in some fashion). Thus, through a combination of her own ignorance and advice from constitutionally incompetent lawyers, she surrendered the integrity of Alaska's executive power in a way that hardly qualifies her to stand at the head of the line for the office of chief executive of the United States.
(Some non-Illinoisers may not know that Keyes lost to Obama in the '04 Senate race. Wacky, fun times!)
That's what probably set off the worldwide financial crisis.
Crap! Sorry, world.
I double down on your "Bah."
Speaking of doubling down, I am totally going to be in Vegas tomorrow night!! Woooo! I'm not 100% sure I can make it til then.
Some non-Illinoisers may not know that Keyes lost to Obama in the '04 Senate race
I remember that, the GOP had to import a black republican to run against Obama.

Good times, good times.

Actually, the parallels are kind of interesting - in the face of the Obama onslaught, grabbing for the first person they can find with some superficial similarity to Barack and studiously ignoring the craxy.

Yeah, the Republican party in Illinois were in total meltdown. I wonder if IL is some sort or precurser state for the health of the GOP?
