Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Matt! Cash! megan! ita's dad! Canadian Thanksgiving! Sukkot!

This day has a lot of exclamation points. I approve.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies to all!

Trudy, I read about the sand dune collapse before I came here and felt so bad for the kids and their families -- and to learn that the one kid has a Buffista connection like that brings back the feeling intensely. I hope that he can recover fully -- that he knew his mom is a good sign that there may be no lasting brain damage. Fingers crossed!

Totally unrelated to that, except that it's good news that we can share, Paul "Conscience of a Liberal" Krugman won the Nobel Prize in Economics this morning.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh wow, so many birthdays! Happy happies, everyone!!!

I just found out that my neighbor and I have the same birthday. We also have sons born 4 weeks apart, meaning that we probably had this conversation last year and forgot about it in a baby-induced haze of sleep deprivation.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday to Matt, Cashmere and Megan!

Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians!

You should see how beautiful and fall like the small trees outside my buidling (office) look against our very overcast sky.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Happy Birthday, Matt, Cashmere and megan walker!!

Looks like today is the last day of our Indian summer. We've had lovely high-70s temps for most of last week, today is supposed to be a high of 79. The rest of the week it's sinking down into the 50s. I'm really not ready for winter to come.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

that he knew his mom is a good sign that there may be no lasting brain damage.

The Doctors have said likewise. And that he was airlifted to an excellent facility and oxygenated quickly is good too.

HAPPY MATT CASHMERE MEGAN ITA'S DAD DAY!!!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies for Matt, Cashmere, and megan walker!
