I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

One class of English paperwork is almost totally done! It's sad how happy that is making me.

FCAT retakes tomorrow. I don't have any students for 2 blocks! Oh, how I plan on being so productive tomorrow morning.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I sucked on the eyeballing it thing. Which is why I should measure before I hang tings up but I never do. Which explains why everything that is on the walls in our house looks the way it does.

Anyone else freaked out over the "having a baby for german engineering" VW commercials? Makes me blink like This American Life blinked over the "better mousetrap" that was a gas chamber...and was marketed in Germany.

Bugs me that a generation of marketers would be so blind to the implications. I mean, freaks me out that kids don't really remember the cold war anymore, but jesus, the Holocaust? We're fucked.
