You know, up until fairly recently, I respected John McCain, even though I don't agree with his views, and I think this is a very sad end to his political career, which please let this be.

I'm watching (non)Olberman and Maddow from last night, and Ana Marie Cox made a really good point about how there are always crazies at political rallies, but now those are the only people McCain has left -- and he may lose them after saying that Obama is a good man and not to be feared.
