Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Corwood, I read it as billytea did, FWIW.

Oh, that made me tear up-- that was soooooo sweet.

ION, Gronk. I didn't even make it to ten last night before I passed out. However, didn't sleep well because Mooshu's yeast infection seems to be back and he spent the night snorfling and biting at his groin.

God, but that's loud.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

McCain did earn back a little of the respect he's lost from me by trying to tell the crazies that you can actually disagree with someone and think your approach is better without demonizing them.

I was just writing elsewhere: "Eating crow is the least he deserves under the circumstances." Personally, I'd condemn him to have to write "Barack Obama is an honest and decent man" one hundred times on a chalkboard, to be simulcast on all networks.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Apparently, though, when McCain finally told the crazies to chill, he was booed: [link]

Part of me is a little worried about what might happen on election night if Obama *wins.* Is that crazy?

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Oh ok, apologies if I read it wrong. I went back and forth on what Gud meant. But I think we're in agreement. I read someone last night talking about McCain's about-face in terms of Republicans addressing the NAACP. They don't think they're going to pick up any votes, but they need to reassure the base that the Rs aren't the party of racism.

not your mom's socks.

we are at one of the Philly Obama rallies. The line to get in is 10 blocks long. Everyone here is positive and excited. Even with the 90 minute wait. Toddler included.

“Not dead yet!”

Jilli, have you received your package with the line edits yet?

Here with tea and sympathy if needed, although I'm sure it'll be fine.
