Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Overkill in a good way, Perkins.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Adding insult to the complete non-injury of the cake I had no right to in the first place and wouldn't have missed if I hadn't known about it, all the wastebaskets in all the offices of all the doctors I work for are full of slices of half-eaten cake because the person who cut it made the slices too big.

Oh, that's super annoying!

So, thinking about bowls got me thinking about Ikea. They have some tupperware looking things on sale this weekend, which I kind of want, but am sure will sell out. But I wonder if I go late afternoon tomorrow, if they'll still have them? I could also get cheap bowls. And I have dinner plans in Brooklyn, so I could make it one trip. Hmmm.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh good.

I tried to narrow it down, I really did.

It was very hard though, 'cuz damn does the woman takes a lot of great photos.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have not had great experience with Ikea tupperware, fwiw. Though because of that it's been a while since I bought any.

But it's two dollars! For a whole bunch! Yeah, I'm sure it's crappy. But I have been wanting to take the Boat! to Ikea! So that kind of goes hand in hand...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Man! I have had total Inverse Proportion Of Praise to Work Week.

Yesterday, I did diddley and got thanked profusely for cleaning up some minor project that I should have done before.

Today, I busted my ass all day, heroically sorting out complicated legacy software systems and pulling off ad hoc solutions which saved them beaucoup monies and I got a finger wagging for not filing the new statutes more promptly.

Then I say go for it!

Not cool, Hec. But at least you had some good mixed in with the bad.

Yeah, we'll see how ambitious I actually am tomorrow.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I'm doing the full marathon at Disney in Orlando in January.

Fellow Florida ~istas feeling a mini F2F? (assuming this isn't the same weekend at Drama Districts!)

Huzzah for Allyson, Jilli and Barb. Editing and rewrite ~ma for all of you. I'm confident the books will all be amazing. I know I can't wait to order my copies!

This weekend? Tonight: watching TV and reading. Tomorrow: sleeping in, probably going to Ocala for dinner, movie, shopping or some combination of these. Sunday: Lesson Plan hell, grade papers, try to get ready for another week in the "Pit of Despair".

I made a point of pointing out my Total Awesomeness today. But, you know, in a modest fashion.
