But there's so many highlights! The guy who sticks with me is the one who, when one of the protesters says that Palin charged rape victims for their rape kits, responds with "Let 'em die." I mean, it's amazing that the right has finally found a guy ready to stand up against the tyranny of of the real menace here: women who have been raped and yet continue to live. And then there's the guy who finally clears up the vitriol against ACORN: they're responsible for the collapse of the stock market

Some people need to chill out. Neither candidate is insanely radical.

I'm not real happy about ACORN either though. They need to seriously clean up their act with voter registration. (Hey ACORN, you're not helping the guy you endorsed) The stock market collapse though? Crazy stuff.

Ah, I see I have confused my sarcastic Christophers. Now memorizing Wikipedia entries to keep them apart.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hitchens is the craxy sot.

I am now the proud owner of a life insurance policy. At a bit higher premium than I originally planned because of "my build" (read fat) and my "high cholesterol" and my "history of mild depression." The underwriters now as much about me now as the buffistas do.

Best I get the insurance now because I'm not getting any thinner, younger or giving up french fries.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Someone needs to translate that into Latin and engrave it on stuff.

“Not dead yet!”

Someone needs to translate that into Latin and engrave it on stuff.

I'd totally wear it on a t-shirt.

I keep wanting to post what the Dow is doing, but I can't because 5 minutes later it's completely different.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

People are suggesting that Canada should take over Iceland

This was my favorite part of that article: "Most importantly, it's the polite thing to do."

I have posited that the G.O.P. has persuaded oil companies to start lowering prices before the election so the Republicans can point at them and go "Look! See?! It's working! We lowered gas prices! Vote Us!"

I've had that thought.

I've also noticed that the prices are higher in the suburbs than in Chicago, which I've never seen happen before.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've also noticed that the prices are higher in the suburbs than in Chicago, which I've never seen happen before.

That is weird - and against the natural order of things.

I just want to know how much the Dow dipped while Bush was speaking.
