Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I guess it fell below 8000, but is up again (because of computer-generated 'buy' orders).

Stupid 20 minute lag in my iPod stock thingie. 20 minutes is a long time right now....

On the front page of msnbc [link] there are lot of pictures of stock traders with looks of total shock on their faces. I've seen a lot of pictures like that in the last few days....

Another headline I didn't expect to see: The end of American capitalism?

In lighter news, mr. flea said right after I took this, "You are NOT allowed to put that on the internet." So, of course: [link]

thanks for the support last night.

I slept well, but am nursing a foul mood this morning. Current bright idea is a primal retribution need from the dark side of my niceness - I'd like to see personal assests seized and used to fund the bailout - CEOs and tier 2s of the failed institutions, Dept. heads that oversaw the riskiest investments, Heads and tier 2s of rating agencies, SEC chair and tier 2s who decided to sleep through all this - I am sure there are more. They lose their jobs, and the majority of their assests - Keep $150K, no more than one residence they own outright, and whatever they socked away offshore - the rest to the government to auction off - all proceeds go to economic relief.

Punishingly Intricate

Hey, lisah? You running the marathon or half-marathon this year?

I'm doing the 1/2. Not so much running as walking, running a little, and complaining! It should be fun though since I'm doing it with 3 of my best friends.

I'm doing the full marathon at Disney in Orlando in January. Craziness!

“Not dead yet!”

Off for another vinyasa class this morning. Different teacher. Female. Not so sure about this, since I always seem to do better with male teachers. We'll see.
