Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
So, I got home from work, and threw together what should be a delicous chicken puttanesca situation -- but now I'm having crackers and cheese for dinner, because the chicken wasn't cooking fast enough, and I'm hungry. It'll be good tomorrow!

Nilly has never offended me.
I just had what started out to be a nice polital talk with a republican friend, but it rather disintegrated on the topic of Gay Marriage when he said "I was always taught to be tolerant, but marriage would mean I have to accept that it is right." I don't see how other people getting married means accepting that it is right, but I suspect I sold marriage in less esteem. But if bad marriages don't devalue marriage, why do gay marriages. But I think we will never get each other. I suspect his mindset, which is being tolerant, and perhaps even liking gay people will never change, and I feel like-- if your so tolerant and friendly to gay people why can't you see that they would like to be married!
ETA- He's not even all "Some of my best friends are gay!" because some of his best friends actually are gay!! I think that I take how I feel personally and apply it to the political, where he takes what he feels politically and applies it to the personl.

Yeah, I ate freezer ravioli for dinner tonight because I was too damn hungry to wait for dinnertime.
Now I'm cranky because the Fedex lady is tearing up our neighbors lawn. She was trying to do a U-turn, which is completely stupid because we live on a cul de sac. Still, she brought me my NAS, so yay.

Is it OK to skip doing grading tonight because I just "don't want to"?
The 2 English classes that were forced on me have FCAT testing next week since these kids haven't passed the test, yet. I figure they can do practice testing for the rest of the week and while that is going on I can get caught up on grading.
