This is me.

I'm not taking anything for granted yet. I thought there was no way Bush would be able to win an election against a household plant in 2004, yet he managed a respectable lead in the popular vote.

I'm going to go on a politics diet. The worry is eating a hole in my stomach.

In other Happy Monday News, someone broke into my car this morning. Smashed the window and attempted to steal the radio. Motherfuckers. Sigh.

That sucks Kat, I hope they didn't do too much damage aside from the window.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn. That sucks. Did they do much damage to the dash trying to get the radio out?

This is what I'm saying. This is the kind of thing that turns one into a conspiracy theorist, of course.

Oh Kat, I'm sorry.

Until Wall Street took a nose dive I though McCain was going to take it, though barely. Now I getting cautiously optimistic. I still think McCain would be an improvement over Bush.

That's not cautiously optimistic. That is extraordinarily optimistic. He may be smarter than Bush, but is apparently just as ignorant and even more stubborn and crazy. Plus in the event that he became President, odds are that he'd die or become unable to continue the Presidency and leave Palin in charge. Also Bush took a booming economy at peace and turned it into a depression and war. McCain would start with a depression and two wars. I worry about where downhill from there leads.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have avoided all but a miniscule amount of work this morning. I really need to get to it. But first, I am going to take lunch and go get a toy for my son at Toys R Us (probably a Christmas gift - I have a coupon). Maybe I'll get him something small also to give as a no-occassion surprise.
