We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Mac's uncle is a very good egg, he is feeling fluish but is still letting mac spend some of the day and watch Star Wars 3. Oh and did I mention he is just home after an 8 hour drive yesterday.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I think you were meant to have it, because that was pure luck, both finding it and finding it so close to me!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I still haven't worked out a good answer to the, "What are you, anyway?" question. I generally answer "human," but that tends to just get an eyeroll. There was a girl in my middle/high school who, despite knowing my last name, which is obviously German, asked me several times whether I was Puerto Rican. Then there was one time in college when I was walking by a bunch of black guys, and one of them turned and shouted, "Hey!" at me. I turned to him, and he said, "You black?" I said no. He said, "You mixed?" I said no. He nodded, said, "OK," and went back to talking to his friends.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I mean, obviously they are related. It's just that Emmett looks exactly like a mix between his mother and me. But Matilda doesn't really look a lot like JZ or me. But when you put them side by side, they definitely look like siblings.

I think they both have your facial structure. It's the cheeks.

Kristin, thanks for posting the SNL link. I couldn't find it anywhere last night.

Art Crawl!!!

WTF

Palin was introduced by Shelly Mandell, the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women. Mandell supported Sen. Hillary Clinton during the Democratic primary, but has now endorsed the McCain-Palin ticket.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Paul has been mistaken for Asian before, back when he had less grey in his hair. My dad has been assumed to be Mexican in the past. He tends to get pretty tan, and his hair and eyes are dark. The only assumptions made about me have been Jewish (my brother gets that a lot, too) and Russian.

People are weird.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I get Jewish a lot, too. And Italian, which is true.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I love how Emmett and Matilda have almost the same expression, that says siblings like nothing else.

I have 5 sisters and we are arguing now about who looks more like our mother these days. My brother shaved his beard a few months ago for some charity. And he looked frightenly like her, more than any of the rest if us.

Jesse, progressives are a bit annoying, in that you can only look through the center third of them, center top is distance, center is mid-distance and center bottom is near. If you try to look sideways it is all blurry. You have to learn to turn you head to look at anything, you periferal vision is lost in the mix.

The LA NOW chapter needs a leadership overthrow.

I have been to the new TJs in Brooklyn - good times and pretty empty today despite or maybe because of the Atlantic Antic.
