“Not dead yet!”

Oh, I hear Palin has used Bill Ayres to attack Obama.

Yep-- says he's "palling around with terrorists."

Sounds as if they're counting on "Joe Six-Pack" being as intellectually incurious as she is.

I can always tell summer is over when my cat decides to sleep on my bed with me. She never does it when it's summertime, even if it's a cool evening, but as soon as fall starts, she's curled up at my feet.

She'll curl up on top of me for petting for up to five minutes, but after that, she gets restless and has to leave. But, she prefers to be in the same room with me 95 percent of the time. If I leave to go to the bathroom and am longer than a few minutes, she's guaranteed to stroll down the hallway to check out where I'm at.

Barb, I'm trying to track down that bag for you at the B&N I work at, but the info desk is swamped right now. I'll call them back later this afternoon, and if I can get it for you (either in stock or through special order), I can pick it up using my 30% off discount and then mail it out to you, if you'd like.

I am so sick of McCain ads, I want to puke. They are so smarmy and so self-contradictory I find it hard to believe any one finds them credible. Yet, they persist. I just want this election to be over.

TPM pointed out that the Obama camp should mention that Palin's own husband is a former member of a group that wants to secede from the union--I'd call that a suspect association!

Oh Kathy, I'd nominate you for goddess status if you could track it down. Hell, I'll nominate you for goddess status just for trying. Thank you!

No problem! I've got the ISBN from your link, so it'll be easier to find out if it's available.

Because books.

That bag is really cool, Barb. And Kathy rocks. ::nods::

Hey, is it possibly Sail's birthday? If so, there should be cake and hugs and streamers and ... Fernet!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I just watched last night's SNL Palin sketch and had to stop it several times because I was laughing too hard to follow it. Not only did they nail Palin, their Biden impersonation was awesome, and Queen Latifah had to work overtime not to crack up. Kudos to all -- SNL has just justified its continued existence for the past ten years or so.

I haven't watched SNL in years, but I have watched the opener for the last few weeks and the Palin's sketches are just getting better and better.
