Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What, I am an information professional.

Also, a parent.

What.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

does the funny weird thing involve me leaving work so I can get my shit together? because, because, EEEEEEEK!

It involves Elvis.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Assuming things go smoothly, I should get out some time in the early afternoon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, you know what ketamine is, right?

By reputation, sure. Special K!

I don't know if I'm more amazed about the boat to IKEA thing or that there's an IKEA in Brooklyn now.

I know, right??

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend, but I'm hoping it includes more stuff than last weekend, when I barely left the house.

I would like very much to by lying down in my bed at home, since my intestines are rebelling at me. I am at work, of course, and when I get to leave (36 minutes!) I will have to deal with the children.

Don't tempt me to tranq them. It probably wouldn't work anyway.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Some time in between, I kind of want to go see Rachel Getting Married, but I'm also kind of afraid of my reaction to films about dysfunctional families. I need to get more friends so that I don't have to watch movies alone.

Why, yes Tom, I'd LOVE to go to a movie!

I was also mocked by a friend this morning for wearing my favorite flannel shirt--

a) it was 59 degrees when I took the kids to school and

b) it's my "comfort shirt." Dress Black Watch plaid that I've had for... ten years, at least. It's as soft as a baby's butt and I wear it when I'm deep into writing.

I can't believe she mocked me.

That's just because neither a) nor b) kept you from looking like Kurt Cobain while being in Florida.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

By reputation, sure. Special K!

See, none of the meatspace (oops, typed RL) people I've told that I am supposed to be treated with ketamine have any idea what it is, and looked at me funny when I was surprised.

Don't they watch crime shows? That's why I knew Jesse would know, for sure.

I actually know because I have some friends who do/have done a lot of drugs. (Actually, it's funny: I know a couple who actually met online, on a clubbing/drugs board. It takes all kinds...)
