When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

“Not dead yet!”

I was also mocked by a friend this morning for wearing my favorite flannel shirt--

a) it was 59 degrees when I took the kids to school and

b) it's my "comfort shirt." Dress Black Watch plaid that I've had for... ten years, at least. It's as soft as a baby's butt and I wear it when I'm deep into writing.

I can't believe she mocked me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Bon Bon, Is there an Amtrak stop near where you and Bob Bob are being wedded? Cause if so, people who don't want to drive or fly might take the train if they can do in a 12 hour a trip. Less expensive, less hassle. I'm going from Olympia to Chico in early November, and the train ride is cheaper and more comfortable than flying or driving. (And I know Amtrak isn't perfect. But I'll still take it over flying.)

Playing Kill Dr. Lucky with our neighbors

We love Kill Dr. Lucky!

I am cleaning, doing laundry, running errands and playing with the dog tomorrow. Sunday I am spending time with my DH and my dog, and packing what I can for my trip on Tuesday.

You must take the boat and report back!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I need to GET OUT OF HERE.

I have to do three loads of laundry, grab and pack toiletries for my trip, finish the last chapter and a half of my book for Agent Kate, and have 14 panic attacks.

I'll be in Monterey for a week at this ridic symposium that I've been planning for over a year. I expect horrible things to happen, which may include me spontaneously combusting.

Who said it was a good idea for me to put togetehr a symposium and write a book at the same time, and have them due/occur in the same week?

Me?

Oh.

Commit me, please.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, you know what ketamine is, right?

Hey, I just called you. [Allyson] To tell you a funny weird thing.

I don't know if I'm more amazed about the boat to IKEA thing or that there's an IKEA in Brooklyn now.

Punishingly Intricate

going home and cleaning like a mad cleaning woman, then friends' bookstore's 16th b'day party, then picking up boyfriend at airport. Saturday is a beginner yoga class to, with any luck, show boyfriend that not all yoga is as suck ass as Bikram. Later dinner party at best friend's. Sunday morning Tour du Port, bike ride around b'more, at early o'clock. And hoping to not kill Chicago Bob with hills galore b'more! I had no idea Chicago was so flat!

It's supposed to be, and currently is, GORGEOUS weather here this weekend! Perfect for riding.
