So I was bad and reading DMN's editorial blog again, and one of the board members posted a thing about Palin's Supreme Court decision question.
One of the commenters: Furthermore, we're not electing a Constitutional lawyer for president and veep.
My reply: I plan on voting for the former civil rights lawyer and constitutional law professor for president, myself.
I think the original board member COMMed me.
In other news about my job, I was walking down the street with Big Boss, and she asked me a question I should have been able to answer, but couldn't (the information is on paper at the office, not in my head!). I said, "Oh man, I feel like Sarah Palin!" Big Boss reassured me I am not like that. Phew.
I've no history of bc, so I'm waiting till I'm 39.
More than 80 percent of breast cancer patients have no family history of breast cancer, and that includes me. Yes, I'm the first breast cancer patient in my family. I'm so proud.
Timelies all!
Tomorrow we head out to the FSGW annual Getaway out near Annapolis. (Also known as the closest I get to camping) Haven't prepped any songs. I've been so unmotivated with music this year, and I don't know why.
I got a reach around.
It was actually pretty fair--I could't tell if it was Obama or McCain. *shudder* I hope it was Obama.
Huh. Apparently, to get a Washington State driver's license, I will need to prove that I can parallel park. This might be a problem.
You have to actually take the driving test? They don't trust Texas? To get my Md license, they just made me take the written....I think. AND they kept my pretty NM license. I know there was no driving test. Thank goodness, because I couldn't parallel park then.
I think it is safe to say I can now: I parked an unfamiliar rental in downtown B'ham lunch hour traffic WITH MY FATHER IN THE CAR (he's one for "helpful" advice that...isn't And I don't take direction well. He did NOT teach me to drive. Mom did.)
They don't trust Texas?
How much parallel parking to they do in Texas?
