David - your office has a wine cellar?
We have one here. No cage with a lock though.
I have been too busy to keep up here, how is everybody?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

McCain pulling out of Michigan
That's right, motherfucker! Get your ass OUT OF MY STATE!
Bitch.
You must have told them to get offa your lawn.
Get the damn mammogram!
Mine was discovered with a mammogram, and there never was a palpable lump, since I had a less common type that's sort of fibrous. Don't neglect breast self-exams at any age, because young women do get breast cancer. The type of cancer that shows up in young women is usually more aggressive, plus, since both young women and their doctors assume that they're too young to have breast cancer, the cancer is usually discovered when it's more advanced.
Also, try to avoid the deluge of pink products in October unless the company clearly states how much of the profits will go to breast cancer research. See Can Shopping Cure Breast Cancer?"
Perhaps I should expand this rant in LJ.
My doctor referred me to a mammogram place in a few months. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, but I agree it needs doing.
Lunch: homemade meatballs with marinara sauce.
Although, given that the eggs remain primarily raw, perhaps best that I stick to pasteurized eggs.
Well, I always think of the eggs as being cooked by the hot pasta. Also, when I do carbonara (in which I will throw just about anything in with pasta, parmesan cheese, and eggs, not just bacon) I also use the local farm super fresh eggs (which I choose to believe have a much lower chance - than the already low chance in farm factory eggs - of having salmonella.) I have been hooked on farm eggs since I first started eating them, about three years ago now!
Wow, that's a lot of paranthetical action there.
The New Yorker endorses Obama.
Like that's a surprise!
his current job is at a boutique law firm specializing in wine law. How freaking cool is that?
Damn it. I knew I shoulda gone to law school.
....well, no, actually. I don't give a shit about wine law; I just like to quaff large amounts of the stuff.
McCain pulling out of Michigan
Oh goody. More McCain birdcage liners in my mail
Right? Mine, too.
Actually, now that I think about it, all our political mail has been in favor of Obama. Maybe McCain targets his mail to specific ZIP codes; ours is the Cincinnati equivalent of San Francisco. It's VIGOROUSLY liberal, and it has a high percentage of Teh Gays, as well as Teh Blacks and Uppity Wimmins. Maybe Old Guy figured it would be a waste of postage.
What time is the debate? 10? 9?
I'm stunned.
