I want Jesse's sandwich.

I had another Lean Cuisine. Whee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It wasn't all that. And I ate it too fast and am now kind of nervous about my upcoming Fancy Meeting, so. Meh.

I am having leftover steak i made w/ a balsamic reduction + roasted cauliflower and potato (and garlic) and an heirloom tomato on a mesclun/arugula mix. I had it yesterday also and it was shockingly unsatisfactory. The steak was too tough. But I guess another day of marinating in the sauce plus a couple of minutes in the microwave did the trick. It is delicioso!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'll be having a turkey club sandwich at lunch - which was pre-ordered since I have to attend a firm lunch meeting.

I am having an eek-busy morning doing everything annoying from transcribing a windy blather off voicemail to taking 12 Liter bottles of wine to the wine cellar in the basement to setting up a conference call for a depo.

Sheesh.

oh steak also had parmesan butter on it. It should have been no fail from the get go! But I the cut was tougher than I expected and I didn't cook it long enough.

That sounds incredible!

I'm still annoyed at myself for spending $1.50 on a single heirloom tomato at the farmers' market the other week, and then not eating it before it went bad (the next day).

Most polls taken together now have him solidly up 5-6%.

www.electoral-vote.com now gives Obama Ohio and Florida, among others, and 338 electoral votes overall to McCain's 185.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hey. What if Palin is BRILLIANT tonight?

Do you think the four horsemen will be hotties?

That sounds incredible!

And it was super easy! I just wish it was incredible for the first two meals I made of it.

Oh if anyone feels like they can try to drink through the debate tonight and they don't care about passing out. My friend made a drinking game:
